Case Acknowledgement is the process of providing tray information to a hospital after they schedule a case for you. It is essential for smooth communication with your facility and ensures a faster check-in at the kiosk. By acknowledging your cases, you can input most of the information before arriving at the kiosk, saving time.
When you acknowledge a case, you let the facility know:
- You're aware of the scheduled surgery.
- The items you'll be providing for the surgery.
- When and if you'll be dropping off those items.
To acknowledge a case:
- Log into Settrax from any device.
- Click on the specific case you want to acknowledge (cases needing acknowledgment indicated with a red dot ).
- Load in tray names, and necessary tray details (e.g. hold/open, implants).
- Once done, the case indicator will turn yellow, indicating you’ve completed the acknowledgment and notified the facility.
Click Finished to complete the acknowledgment and the data will be available for review by the facility.
Pro Tip:
For even faster acknowledgments, use setlists. To learn more about using and creating setlists, check out this article Creating and Using Save Set Lists
