Remote Vendor Scheduling

Some facilities offer remote vendor scheduling, empowering you to create and manage cases directly from your Settrax dashboard without needing to visit the kiosk. This feature is especially valuable for scheduling last-minute and emergent cases, ensuring you can respond quickly to urgent surgical needs. 

Additionally, remote scheduling allows you to fully utilize Settrax's Vendor Link and courier ordering features, streamlining coordination with your team and improving case preparation efficiency.

Important: While you can schedule cases remotely, the check-in process must still be completed in person at the facility kiosk before the procedure.

 

How to Check if Remote Scheduling is Available:

Look for an orange "New Case" button on your Schedule page inside your Settrax dashboard. When clicked, it will display a dropdown menu of kiosk sites you service where remote scheduling is enabled.

 

Troubleshooting Access:

• Facility is missing from the list? If you've been told a facility offers remote scheduling but don't see it in your dropdown, they may need to grant you access first.
• Next steps: Contact the hospital admin or Settrax support to request access and troubleshoot any issues.

Creating a Remote Case

1. Log in to your Settrax account and navigate to Schedule > New Case located on the right side of the page.
   • Note: If the New Case button is not visible or the facility is not listed, remote scheduling has not been enabled for that location.
2. In the pop-up window, click the dropdown and select the correct facility, then click Proceed.
3. On the case scheduling page, fill out the form with the case details, then click the Proceed button, followed by Finished.

Your case is now scheduled and visible in the system. Remember to complete the check-in process at the facility kiosk before the procedure.
